About How I Work
I believe that all of us have a part of ourselves that is whole and healthy and unshaken by whatever difficulties or trauma we have experienced. I also believe that our emotions can serve as a powerful source of information that we can use to guide our behavior and make healthy decisions.
Many of us learn early on to avoid certain emotions, but this can have the unintended consequence of cutting us off from ourselves, leaving us feeling numb, uneasy, and vulnerable to symptoms such as anxiety and depression.
Through our work together we will develop a safe, supportive, non-judgmental relationship where you can begin to have new emotional experiences. As a result you can expect to see a reduction in symptoms, a greater vitality and creativity within yourself, and a greater depth in your relationship with others.
